The name InSol is derived from combining the beginning syllables of the words industrial and solutions.

Specializing in the design, manufacture, sales and installation of automation systems, we are an engineering company providing industrial solutions for the plastics industry. Our systems are primarily, but not exclusively, utilized by the manufacturers of plastic injection molding machines and the users of these machines. Plastic injection molding machines are used to fabricate whole pieces such as trash cans, or a variety of parts for automobiles, home appliances, and many other products. Some examples of systems we develop for the plastics industry are those that retrieve, stack, or palletize parts like the ones mentioned above. Two of our better known customers are Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Kentucky and Cincinnati Milacron.

In the plastics industry most automation systems are designed around robots and our systems are no different. We utilize the Ichikoh brand robot and are in fact the exclusive sales and service agent for this robot in the Western Hemisphere and Europe. Ichikoh has an outstanding reputation for quality and durability and, because of these characteristics, is used extensively in the automotive manufacturing industry. In conjunction with this robot we provide a wide variety of turnkey automation packages that include such items as fixtures, jigs, and bowl feeding systems.

The Ichikoh robot can be servo, meaning electronically controlled for high precision, or pneumatic, which means air driven for its operation; it can also be a combination of both. We fabricate End-Of-Arm-Tooling, a term used to describe the device attached to the retrieving end of a robot; this acts like a hand in removing a part, or parts, from a plastic injection molding machine.
